No account, no cookies, no ads. Your font description is used only to make your font and is not kept afterwards. Your recent fonts are stored in your own browser.

Your font descriptions

When you press Generate, the description and the letter shape you chose are sent from your browser to this website and from there to our own AI server — a GPU machine we rent from a cloud GPU provider and operate ourselves. The server uses them to draw and build the font and then discards them. We do not store descriptions in a database, the AI server does not write them to its logs, and they are not used to train any model.

Generated fonts

The finished font file is held in the AI server's memory for up to about one hour so your browser can download it, and is then deleted. There is no public gallery and we keep no copy afterwards.

Recent fonts in your browser

The "Your recent fonts" list, including the font files themselves, is saved with your browser's localStorage on your own device and never leaves it. Remove items with the × button or clear the site's data in your browser settings.

Fair-use limits

So that one visitor can't use up the shared GPU, the website records the times of recent generation requests per IP address. The IP address is stored only as a one-way hash, and these records are deleted within two days.

Server logs

Like nearly all websites, the web server keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser user agent) for security and troubleshooting, kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we host ourselves. It is cookieless and counts page views and simple events such as "font generated", in aggregate. It does not build personal profiles or follow you to other websites. The data stays on our own server, and no personal data is sold or shared with anyone.
